Dear MMSDG student members,

The MMSDG event on Tuesday February 17, 2026, will be ‘Student night’! This includes graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. This year, we continue with short oral presentations for all (5 to 7-minute depending on the number of presenters). There will be two $250 CAD prises for the best presentations. As usual, judging will be performed by our sponsor members. Please submit your title and abstract (~250 word) by February 13 to pierre.chaurand@umontreal.ca

Oral presentation:

• All talks will be presented in English.
• All talks are 5 to 7 minutes including questions.
• All presentations must be sent in PowerPoint format by email (pierre.chaurand@umontreal.ca) no later than 4pm on February 17. The projecting computer will be running Office 360 for PC.  Be sure to test your presentation on a similar computer to make sure it is compatible.
